TKS Studio processes project text, imported audio, recordings, and video previews on your device. Its editing tools do not upload this content to TKS or send it to an AI provider. No account is required.
Choosing Save locally stores project text and storyboards in local application or browser storage, with up to 30 saved projects. Audio and video stay in memory and are cleared when you leave or reload. Export projects and media to keep a backup. Clearing the browser's site data or removing the native application can erase local work. Your operating system may include application data in device backups according to your device settings.
Studio requests microphone permission when you choose Record voice. Recording stops when you stop it, leave the app, or reach the five-minute limit. You can revoke permission in your device settings. File pickers open only files you select. Native exports create a file in the app's cache and open your operating system's share sheet. The cache can be cleared by the operating system; copies saved or shared elsewhere are managed by you and the destination service.
The web version downloads application files from OpenAI Sites hosting and its Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. Studio's code includes no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Its service worker caches public application files for offline use. Native app files are bundled with the application.
