The planning, writing, recording, audio trimming, storyboard, and video preview tools process your selected content on your device. These local tools do not upload your project text, imported files, or recordings to TKS or an AI provider. No account is required for local editing.
Choosing Save locally stores project text and storyboards in local application or browser storage, with up to 30 saved projects. Imported audio, local recordings, and video previews remain in memory and are cleared when you leave or reload. Local project exports contain text and storyboards; they do not include audio or video files, including AI generations. Export media separately to keep a copy.
Clearing site data or removing the native application can erase local work. Your operating system may include application data in device backups according to your settings.
AI generation is available through the online Studio to the signed-in TKS site owner. It is separate from local editing. After you approve a generation request and press Generate, TKS sends that prompt and the selected generation settings to BytePlus. Audio uses BytePlus Seed Audio; video uses BytePlus ModelArk and Seedance. BytePlus processes the request under its own service terms and privacy practices, and usage charges may apply to the configured BytePlus account. Do not include information you do not want sent to that provider.
Prompts pass through the TKS server to BytePlus. TKS stores job details, provider request identifiers, and completed media on its server; the generation history does not retain the prompt text. Generated files are private to the authenticated owner, and are available in the online Studio for playback and download. Generation does not publish files to the website, social media, or other public destinations. Downloaded or shared copies are managed by you and the receiving service. Contact the operator below to request deletion of server-stored generation data.
If submission is interrupted, the browser may retain the pending prompt, generation settings, and request identifier in session storage so that checking the same request does not deliberately create a second generation. The pending record is cleared when the request is recovered or rejected before submission. Browser session storage and the server generation history are separate from local project exports.
ChatGPT sign-in provides identity information used to restrict online generation and provider settings to the owner. BytePlus API keys are submitted securely to the TKS server and stored encrypted. Saved keys are not returned to the browser or included in local project storage or exports. The audio and video services use separate credentials. Saving a key does not verify provider access or generate media.
Studio requests microphone permission when you choose Record voice. Recording stops when you stop it, leave the app, or reach the five-minute limit. You can revoke permission in your device settings. File pickers open only files you select. Native exports create a file in the app's cache and open your operating system's share sheet. The cache can be cleared by the operating system; copies saved or shared elsewhere are managed by you and the destination service.
The web version is delivered through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. Studio's code includes no advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Its service worker caches public application files for offline local editing; authenticated generation requires the online Studio. Native app files are bundled with the application.

You can use the local tools without generating AI media, delete saved local projects, clear site storage, revoke microphone access, or uninstall the app. Export copies before clearing local data.
